In a proud moment for Bangladesh, MIE Pathways has been recognised on the global stage, winning not one but two prestigious accolades at the NCUK Partner Awards 2024, Champion of Champions: Strategic Growth & Ambition and Strategic Growth & Ambition Award – Asia.
This recognition reflects the relentless efforts of MIE Pathways in providing accessible, high-quality education Through pathway programmes such as the International Foundation Year (IFY), International Year One (IYOne), and Master’s Preparation for Bangladeshi students.
The event, held on November 26 at John Smith’s Stadium in Huddersfield, UK, brought together education leaders and representatives from across the world to celebrate excellence in international education.
During the awards ceremony, Stuart Smith, CEO of NCUK, highlighted the organisation’s unique mission and legacy of creating opportunities for international students. He remarked:
Unlike other pathway organisations, NCUK was originally formed 35 years ago by a group of universities in the UK to enable access for international students to a university education. We therefore understand our students and our partners well, and to date, more than 50,000 students have trusted us on their journey to study at university. We have a unique story to tell, and our work to rebrand and reposition NCUK will enable us to do that.
As the only accredited study centre in Bangladesh, this award serves as both a milestone and a motivation to continue empowering students. This achievement would not have been possible without the dedicated team of MIE, whose hard work and commitment ensure the highest standards of academic support and guidance. Special thanks also go to the students and their families, who place their trust in MIE Pathways to guide them toward brighter futures.
Looking ahead
MIE Pathways remains steadfast in its mission to make global education opportunities accessible to students across Bangladesh. Winning this award is not just a moment of celebration but a pledge to set even higher standards. Moving forward, they will continue to empower students with the knowledge and opportunities they need to thrive academically and beyond.
