Why did you choose to study with NCUK?

There are two primary reasons why I decided to pursue the International Foundation Years (IFY) qualification with NCUK:

Firstly, NCUK offered me an expedited route to join my dream university. Instead of investing two whole years in completing A-Level or IB qualifications, the International Foundation Year at NCUK allowed me to achieve the same progression in just one year. This not only conserved both my time and resources but also fast-tracked my journey towards my desired academic destination.

Beyond the academic advantages, the NCUK team’s friendly and supportive nature has been instrumental. They readily offer assistance with any inquiries I have, whether about the program itself or visa-related matters.

Overall, the International Foundation Year has been pivotal in facilitating my educational aspirations, offering a streamlined pathway to my dream university, providing a strong academic grounding, and backed by a helpful and approachable support team.

How has your NCUK experience helped you to get to where you are today?

Despite the condensed timeframe of the International Foundation Year, its academic rigour is on par with that of A-Level or IB qualifications. This robust academic foundation has proven immensely advantageous during my studies at the University of Leeds. It has enabled me to engage more effectively in my coursework and progress swiftly within my classes.

Building upon a strong academic foundation, I achieved First-Class Honours in Economics and Finance. Currently, I’ve decided to pursue further studies at Leeds in a postgraduate program in Investment and Finance.

What are your goals for the future?

I can divide my future goals into short-term, medium-term, and long-term. My short-term goal is to become an ambassador for NCUK, helping the next generation to get into the universities of their dreams.

Over the medium term, I am committed to achieving distinction in my postgraduate studies while my long-run objective is to land a first job as an Investment Analyst in the Big 4 companies headquarters located in London. I will use the skills and knowledge I gain through my studies to be the best in the field and be able to contribute significantly to the company I join. I am determined to make the best of the opportunity and make a lasting impression.

Do you have any advice for future NCUK students?

My advice for future NCUK students is to focus on your studies and have a clear and structured goal. Use the support system available to you to achieve it. Don’t be scared to ask for help, and make sure you take the time to look after yourself.
