Why did you choose to study with NCUK?
NCUK provided me with the assurance of progressing to one of their partner universities with the successful completion of their programme which was just what I was looking for at the time. The smooth operation of their services was encouraging and calming in a period that could arouse anxiety and frustration. I had heard good reviews about NCUK and because I had previously run into some hurdles with university procedures and coming to a decision, NCUK seemed like the best bet for me. Also, finally deciding on getting a higher education in the UK, NCUK was a very opportuning last-minute salvation.
How has your NCUK experience helped you to get to where you are today?
My NCUK experience has been of greater help to me than I expected. First, providing the opportunity for me to obtain an international foundation degree in my home country was very conducive. The qualification equipped me with a lot of knowledge and skills I would find useful to cope with my progression to a higher education institution. Also, NCUK has been of great help to me during my application and admissions process, keeping me up to date with any vital information and engaging the university of my choice to respond effectively to me. In general, NCUK has made my university process a relatively smooth ride and has not hesitated to offer assistance whenever I needed it.
What are your goals for the future?
My goal for the future is to provide a better future for the upcoming generation. I see myself pumping my best effort into all that is set before me and accomplishing them all to the best of my abilities. I am confident in my rising above failure and difficulties and setting an example to everyone around me, older, younger and my peers. I envision a future where I will combine my skills with like-minded people and achieve breakthroughs with solutions once sought after to problems faced in the world, no matter how little or seemingly insignificant. My goal is to make a mark, whether directly or indirectly, that will remain and be valued by many.
Do you have any advice for future NCUK students?
For future NCUK students, I tell you to never give up and never be discouraged. You may run into a few hurdles, things may look difficult along the way, and it may seem like nothing is working out in your favour but if you keep your head high and have faith, that all things will work together for your good. Always be on the lookout for opportunities and seize every one of them. Do not procrastinate even the littlest thing. The time for everything is now, don’t put too much faith in tomorrow. Finally, don’t be discouraged when met with a little failure. You can’t climb the stairs of success without a little failure here and there. Look at the bigger picture, you are a champion.
