Why did you choose to study with NCUK?
I was made aware that NCUK was offering a pathway to study medicine in the UK and so I took the opportunity.
How has your NCUK experience helped you to get to where you are today?
The bridging course that is the International Foundation Year helped me prepare for the demanding workload that one is faced with when entering university, especially considering that it is a medical course. The Maths, Chemistry, Biology as well as the English course shares a lot with the British levels course which is very helpful. In addition to the curriculum, the lecturers are well-knowledgeable and willing to help students through this phase of their academic career.
What are your goals for the future?
Complete the 5-year course and hopefully progress to a medical speciality of my choice.
Do you have any advice for future NCUK students?
I wholeheartedly recommend it as it provides so many opportunities to study in countries such as the US, UK, Australia and New Zealand. International students face a lot of difficulty getting into competitive courses overseas. NCUK makes this hectic journey a lot easier and the path straighter.
